Hi I’m Mervin C. Carig, 22 years old
I was born in rice capital of Philippines, Nueva Ecija.
But grew up here in Quezon City.
I graduated at the Eulogio “Ang” Rodroguez Institute of Science and Technology With service award for deceloping our institute website
PASSION IN DESIGNING AND WEB PROGRAMMING
When I was high school I wanted to become Minister inside Iglesia Ni Cristo or maybe a Soldier or a policeman, but we can’t say what will happen.
I already enrolled at that time as compiter science in other school but suddenly my friend ask me to enrolled at EARIST of course it’s my friends influential.

At that time I experienced deffirent programming language and markup text and how to debug them.
When It comes to grouping my classmates always want to be team up with me (pretty famous when it comes to programming). Envolved in web designing contest at UMAC which so many college states amd universities has been participated. So stage by stage my learning abput web designing and development has been increased.
When It comes to designing, I started to practice PS way back third year high school I was 16 or 17 years old, then I used that ability when I was college and for report using PowerPoint presentation.
Way back third year college that was my OJT period, by the way I’m in our campus intern or OJT personnel, I was the one who in-charge for all mock ups we goong to upload at EARIST website, including the designing presentation of our head Ms. Sheila Marie Matias.

Job Experience
I graduated last april 18, 2017, it’s was hard to find a job.
But I pursue to find a job. June 10, 2017 when I was starting work at Ishkaster Media
I was happy for my first job, I experienced a lot of things here including the following:
Insisted by your boss or the chairman of the company
She extended my training for three months after my 6 months probationary even my TL defend me because I’m worthy. The mamagement just say are the following:
The app that tasked to me is not finish
- LOL I’m web developer not a app developer, and one thing I’m just in charge for the support not dor developing the whole app so just I did was to contact the support or the one who developing the app, other features company needs to pay but they don’t want to pay I think it’s not my fault at all.
TL: mervin is doing graphics also
Management: I don’t like his design
-But many of my design was display one of the company’s website, including thr logo of her website.
Management: Mervin is not ready for developing website
TL: Mervin is the one who creating manual for pur websites, I think he can do it ny himself, why don’t you to try give an solo project.
- Of course I know the flow how to set up wordpress cms from front to end because I’m the one who created our user manuals for pur client.
- After some month they gave me a solo project, I did it very well from dront to end, since then I learned how to defend myself and fight for myself.
In reality people have an different characteristics and personality.
Hoping for a good boss.
